On this solid foundation, SNP can now build a continuous optimization phase that extends across all departments and processes. With this project SNP expands its know-how in processes and technology in the area of S/4HANA and at the same time consolidates its long-standing core competence to implement projects remotely – especially in times of Corona an important component for SNP customers and partners.

BLUEFIELD™ powered by CrystalBridge enables smooth go-live

With S/4HANA, SNP now operates an innovative internal platform for optimized, standardized and centralized processes - with the goal of scaling the business and ensuring the success of SNP customers and partners. The project time frame was ambitious: The migration had to be completed within a few months. Particular challenges were the legal requirements - both regional and global - as well as the requirements of the specialist departments. These included chart of accounts conversion and project harmonization, segment reporting and the conversion to the cost-of-sales method.

New technologies implemented

On the technical side, it was necessary to introduce the New General Ledger with New Asset Accounting and to restructure customers and suppliers under SAP. New technologies such as SAP Fiori also had to be implemented.

"With the successful S/4HANA migration, we have established the base camp for future

summits and our pioneering role in transformation projects", emphasizes Prof. Dr. Herbert Schuster, Chief Information Officer of the SNP Group.
