NPPD encargó a SNP e IBM su proyecto SAP S/4HANA: una actualización que incluye una integración del sistema, servicios en la nube así como el mantenimiento del software y de la nube. Esta plataforma era la base de innovación que NPPD necesitaba para mejorar la tecnología, los sistemas y los procesos futuros. NPPD necesitaba migrar datos de su antigua plataforma ECC y al mismo tiempo simplificar y estandarizar los procesos, limpiar y eliminar los datos heredados y eliminar las transacciones SAP no utilizadas. La empresa espera ahorrar un promedio de 8 millones de dólares anualmente en los próximos años gracias a la actualización y a las futuras implantaciones tecnológicas basadas en este proyecto.

The energy industry is facing a huge transition, prompted by the COVID-19pandemic and the resulting shift in consumer behavior and fluctuating globalmarkets. NorthWestern Energy is confronting these changes head-on, puttingtechnology at the center of its business strategy.The company came to SNP for help with their transformational journey to migratetheir current SAP ECC solution to SAP’s next-generation offering, S/4HANA.To achieve that goal, they needed a clear roadmap, a defined business case, andkey functionality upgrades.The company sought to migrate 20 years of data from their old ECC platform whilesimplifying and standardizing processes, cleansing and removing legacy data,eliminating unused SAP transactions, and consolidating or retiring company codes.

En pos de beneficiar el proceso de toma de decisiones, el cliente buscaba que la información de la compañía fuese única, homogénea y en línea para uso de todos sus trabajadores.Con este objetivo, Distrocuyo necesitaba disponer de herramientas de análisis de información que incorporen datos de diversas fuentes para obtener una visión global de su gestión Por último, Distrocuyo requería mejorar su comunicación e interacción con sus clientes y proveedores.

Aare Energie AG: carve-out in a single step thanks to SNP methodology

During the carve-out project at Aare Energie AG, the master and transaction data had to be copied from the existing SAP system into a new SAP system, including all historical data for the business unit to be carved out. The data transformation also involved the migration of archive documents. The plan was to create the new SAP landscape by copying the existing production system. Deleting the copied data in the source system was not planned in the first step.
