Cibra’s challenges

Cibra’s goal was to simplify demanding day-to-day business operations by switching to more efficient and scalable processes. To optimize its daily processes, the company planned to separate the SAP system of four affiliated companies (OFD Supply Inc, Agro Ind Sao Luiz Ltda, Cibrafertil Cia and Paribara Sociedad Responsable) from a total of 16 as well as upgrade from ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA.

Cibra decided to move to SAP S/4HANA to increase operational efficiency, automate processes and enable more accurate data analysis in real time. By modernizing its technological infrastructure, Cibra aimed to optimize its current performance while also paving the way for future growth and expansion into new markets.

The project’s key focus areas were system integration, employee training and aligning the technology with the company’s strategic goals.

The solution

The project started in February 2023. SNP shared all its data migration expertise and worked side by side with its partner delaware, which was in charge of implementing the project. Three migration cycles took place before the go-live. SNP used two key products for the project: CrystalBridge and Mission Control.

In just 26 hours, 18 SNP consultants completed the smooth migration of around 1.5 TB of data. The following modules were in scope: HR, FI, MM, WM, SD, LE-TRA, CO, PP, PM, QM and GTM.

Our customer achieved their goals: The ERP system was migrated to SAP S/4HANA using a selective approach and the impact on daily business operations was minimized.

The project was SNP’s first in Brazil together with its partner delaware.

Our partnership with delaware

SNP and delaware have been working together since 2020 and are continuously expanding their partnership. Ranked sixth in CEU, the company has a strong presence in Central Europe with wide-ranging operations at multiple levels. Looking beyond Europe, its target markets around the world are countries in Latin and North America. The partnership is thriving thanks to coordinated G2M planning, joint marketing campaigns and successful projects involving SNP-certified consultants from delaware in Asia and LATAM.  The team is certified to use SNP software in projects worldwide. In 2024, delaware and SNP participated in several trade fairs together (e.g. SAP Sapphire and Transformation World), organized webinars and launched marketing campaigns – ensuring their joint success in 2025 true to the motto #winningtogether.
