Last week, SNP Group held its annual Transformation World event under the theme “Explore New Horizons.” From June 14 to 15, the SNP dome in Heidelberg was filled with excitement, hosting an impressive lineup of activities that left attendees buzzing with newfound knowledge and inspiration. With over 1,000 attendees, three stages and speakers coming from all around the world, it was a truly international affair, with live interpreting ensuring seamless communication for everyone.
So let’s unpack all the fantastic insights and unforgettable moments that made this event truly special!
Insightful keynote sessions and presentations
Jens Amail, CEO of SNP, kicked off the event with a presentation on topics which are dear to our hearts: the need for sustainability, agility and digitalization. And together with our guest speakers from various industries, we covered a variety of subjects: from successful transformation projects to AI use cases and new market disruptors. We talked about complex but successful SAP S/4HANA transitions, Bluefield migrations and data integrations (spoiler alert: a game-changing upgrade for our integration tool SNP Glue is coming soon!).
During the event, the audience had the chance to listen to and interact with C-level speakers and senior management from companies such as Accenture, PwC, Siemens, IBM, Fujitsu and many others. They talked about their experience with SAP projects – whether those were merger and acquisitions, system upgrades, or data management challenges. We heard many success stories, but also future visions and strategies for harnessing AI.

Product demo sessions and testing rooms
For those interested in how things really work, we set up several demo sessions where our experts explained in detail how we go about data integration, data migration, system decommissioning and data archiving. Our product owners know their tools inside out, so they were ready to answer all questions and resolve all doubts. During the event, attendees could also wander into testing rooms where they could test the UI and new product features – hands-on!
Partner avenue
The event wouldn’t have been such a success if not for our sponsors and partners, among them Fujitsu, IBM and others. It was a pleasure to host them at the partner avenue – a dedicated partner area where they could network and showcase their expertise. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with partners, explore collaborative opportunities, and gain a deeper understanding of the ecosystem driving innovation.
Business talks
Of course we didn’t forget about those who came here to talk business. The venue featured business talk rooms where the attendees could meet up and go through their needs and expectations in a more quiet, discreet setting.
Establishing the Andreas Schneider-Neureither Scholarship
Transformation World was also an opportunity to commemorate SNP’s founder, Andreas Schneider-Neureither. To pay tribute to his life’s work, we have proudly established a scholarship in collaboration with the University of Heidelberg: The Dr. Andreas Schneider-Neureither Scholarship. It is an honor for us that Andreas’ wife, Tatiana Schneider-Neureither, has graciously agreed to serve as the patron of this scholarship.
Through this scholarship, we hope to carry forward Dr. Andreas Schneider-Neureither’s passion for physics and his commitment to fostering knowledge and innovation. The scholarship is specifically designed to support students of physics at the University of Heidelberg who face financial challenges on their educational journey. Our aim is to provide them with the necessary resources and assistance to successfully navigate their studies and fully pursue their academic aspirations.

Cherry on Top: Party Time!
As day one drew to a close, the attendees came together to celebrate their shared experiences at an outdoor party. With a DJ spinning energetic beats, live music, delectable food and refreshing drinks, the atmosphere was filled with positive vibes. Time flies when you are having fun - the party went on until the wee hours!
And yes, we will see you there again next year on June 19-20, 2024!
