The ISO/IEC 27001 standard defines requirements for an effective information security management system that forms the structural basis for handling confidential information responsibly. In addition to the new ISO seal of approval for information security, SNP already has other certifications, including a quality management system certified according to ISO 9001. Furthermore, the SNP Poland data centers are certified according to ISO 27018.

“For SNP, information security has always been and remains a central aspect and basis for our actions,” says Prof. Dr. Herbert Schuster, Chief Information Officer (CIO) of SNP. “The new certifications demonstrate that our information security measures are successful and justify the trust placed in us as a reliable partner for customers, suppliers and our employees. SNP guarantees confidentiality, availability and integrity of information and systems for all stakeholders at all times. This confirmation from an independent body motivates us to continue making consistent progress along our path.”
