SNP partners with CDQ to increase focus on data quality

Heidelberg, Germany, June 17, 2024 – SNP is expanding its partner network. The leading provider of software for digital transformation, automated data migration and data management in the SAP environment has signed a partnership agreement with data quality specialist CDQ AG. Headquartered in St. Gallen, Switzerland, CDQ is a global pioneer in data sharing with more than 18 years of data management expertise. The company automates business partner master data activities ranging from data creation and maintenance, data quality assessment, mergers, and quality assurance to fraud prevention, trust scoring for bank accounts, and sanctions screening. The CDQ partnership enables SNP to expand its end-to-end offering for business partners, increasing its focus on the quality of customer and vendor data. The CDQ solution will be integrated into the analysis function of SNP’s software suite CrystalBridge as part of the system scan, which SNP performs over 1,000 times a year for its customers. Both partners will present their collaboration at this year's Transformation World, which takes place on June 19 and 20 in Heidelberg.

  • SNP further expands CrystalBridge into end-to-end solution with CDQ partnership

  • Customers worldwide benefit from optimal processes and added value thanks to clean data in the long term

If customers opt for the CDQ software, they can eliminate the error-prone manual activities associated with data creation and maintenance by automating the processes for managing business partner data. Following an initial cleanup of business partner master data, the company continuously ensures maximum data quality by connecting more than 70 external data sources and applying over 2,700 globally tested data quality rules. The partnership is the first step towards extensive collaboration aiming to expand this partial integration by incorporating the entire CDQ approach into the SNP project process in the future.

Martin Finkbeiner, CTO EMEA at SNP, confirms: “By partnering with CDQ, we are closing a gap and satisfying the requirements of our customers. Now we can offer them complete quality assurance for their customer and vendor master data, ensuring that they only work with clean data. The solution is an important addition to CrystalBridge that will help us to further solidify its position as the global standard.”

Dr. Dimitrios Gizanis, CEO of CDQ, adds: “We are really looking forward to working together, and our aim is to support SNP customers with more than just their S/4 migration. We offer them reliable, high-quality business partner master data with a high degree of automation in the long term. As part of CrystalBridge, our solution will make a valuable contribution to SNP’s end-to-end transformation approach and data management platform.”
